JAMMU, Dec 23: A labourer died on the spot after an unknown vehicle hit him near Nandini Tunnel of Jhajjar Kotli area, late this evening.
According to a police spokesperson, the labourer identified as Younis (27) son of Nazir Ahmed, a resident of Udhampur, was busy in four-laning work of road near Nandini Tunnel, when an unknown vehicle hit him resulting into his on the spot death.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for post mortem. At the same time, the concerned police has also taken cognizance of the matter.
