Srinagar, Jan 15: A labourer was buried when he came under a mud-slide during digging of a drain in Srinagar on Tuesday afternoon.
A police spokesman said Tariq Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Mir of Sunderwani, Budgam, came under a mud slide while digging a drain constructed by UEED department near SRTC Bridge Kralkhud locality of Srinagar district. He died on the spot.
Police has registered a case FIR No. 03/2014 under Section 304-A and investigation has been taken up.
