JAMMU, May 30: Secretary, J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board (KVIB), Mir Afroz today placed an employee of the KVIB Reasi under suspension.
The secretary/ CEO today conducted surprise visit to the district office of the KVIB at Reasi and found one senior supervisor Ashwani Verma absent from duty. He issued on the spot instructions of suspension and directed the erring official to report to the direction office at Srinagar. The official was found absent for the last five days.
Mr Afroz also advised the District Officer, KVIB Reasi to re-sponsor the cases of the prospective beneficiaries which have been returned by the banks on flimsy grounds.
