JAMMU, Dec 21: Parents of the students today held a massive protest demonstration outside Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1 against the proposed shifting of the institution from Akhnoor town to village Tanda.
A number of parents of the students today gathered outside the school premises and held a demonstration shouting slogans against the management for proposing shifting of the educational institution from Akhnoor town to Tanda.
They claimed that the present location of the school was very accessible and approachable to majority of students while the proposed location would disturb majority of them and make them walk quite a distance.
The agitated parents were of the view that the authorities shouldn’t succumb to the pressure and keep the institution at its present location. They threatened to intensify the protests if any effort was made to shift the institute.
