UDHAMPUR, Dec 16: Kendriya Vidyalaya No 1 celebrated Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Foundation Day.
The function was conducted in two sessions. The first function was during the morning assembly where the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan song was sung by the students guided by the music teacher. On the occasion, students were led by Sanjay Kumar in the oath taking ceremony.
The second session of the foundation starts with the lighting of ceremonial lamp by Principal Rajesh Pandey accompanied by Vikramaditya, Usha Koul and Sanjay Kumar.
After this, teachers were presented with gold and silver medals viz certificates in the respective academic areas for their outstanding performances.
While speaking, Principal motivated everyone to serve the Sangathan to the best of their capabilities and make the nation proud.
On the occasion, students presented various cultural items, which were highly appreciated by the audience with thundering applauses.
