Kundal reviews arrangements for Sudh Mahadev Mela

UDHAMPUR, May 23: In view of the forthcoming three-day long annual Sudh Mahadev Mela, a meeting of the office bearers of J&K Dharmarth Trust was held during which president of the Trust, BR Kundal, reviewed arrangements for the Mela.
Chairing the meeting, Kundal stressed the need of better coordination and cooperation among various departments and agencies for ensuring smooth and safe Mela. He took stock of the arrangements regarding short stay accommodation, drinking water, electricity, health and hygiene and security.
Kundal asked the concerned departments to gear up for ensuring proper and elaborate arrangements and other facilities for the devotees and visitors during the three-day long Mela which is going to start from June 8 at Sudh Mahadev.
He urged upon the Dharmarth Trust office bearers to work in coordination with the departments to make the Mela a success. He also directed for ensuring the cleanliness, establishment of langar besides renovation and decoration of the complex to make it more attractive for the devotees.
It was also decided that in view of the religious importance of “Gaurikund and Mantalai” equal focus and attention should be paid to the temples and devotees visiting these places.
