UDHAMPUR, Apr 8: Up in arms against unscheduled and prolonged power cuts during the holy Navratras, locals of Krimchi Mansar today protested against Power Development Department (PDD).
The protesting villagers raised slogans against Power Development Department (PDD) and threatened to lock the PDD office. They lamented that due to heavy curtailment, the villagers were facing a lot of problems. Even as the matter was brought into the notice of concerned authorities, no action was taken, they added.
The protest demonstration was addressed by Vimal Kumar, Ramesh Kumar, Pradeep Kumar, Devi Sharan, Vijay Kumar, Sanjay Kumar and Yogendra Kumar.
