JAMMU, Aug 12: Kashmiri Pandit United Coordination Committee (KPUCC) Jagti township in a meting today held under the chairmanship of Bansi Lal Koul , its chairman and Anu Ji its president expressed grave concern over the dilapidated condition of different residential blocks in the township.
The meeting also expressed concern over scarcity of drinking water, insanitation and shortage of medicines in 40 bedded Jagti Hospital.
Addressing the meeting Bansi Lal Koul said that water supply to the township remains affected in every year during rainy season and it adds to the sufferings of the inmates and they are forced to procure water. He made an appeal to Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner to take immediate steps in redressing this problem.
Annu Ji made an appeal to the authorities to take the necessary repairs of the quarters in hand and ensure the proper supply of medicines in Jagti Hospital. He also made an appeal to Government to start the recruitment process for remaining over 3000 posts under PM’s employment package.
Koul also stressed on maintaining the parks in the township. Vinod Ji, Babloo, Vinod Fotedar and others attended the meeting.
