JAMMU, June 30: Rich tributes were paid to Pt Amarnath Vaishnavi former president of All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC), a RSS ideologue who was also declared as community on his 8th Nirvan Divas by (ASKPC), Kashmiri Pandit Conference, (KPC), Amar Balidan Trust and BJP Kashmir Displaced District today.
ASKPC paid floral tributes to the popular leader, who headed the organization for a long time, to contribute to the welfare of the beleaguered community, especially post 1990 exodus.
Paying tributes to Late Vaishnavi, president ASKPC Advocate Ravinder Raina stated that the great leader selflessly was on a mission of society welfare and the desire of an Akhand Bharat was very dear to his heart, for which he had devoted his personal life as a true Sanyasi. Such a Karamyogi is born very rarely, he added.
Recalling the contributions of the father of the community, various leaders of the community also conveyed their tributes over video conferencing and stated that the towering personality was a down to earth simple & honest person who at any given time volunteered to help people in distress.
Dr T.K. Bhat general secretary, ASKPC, while paying tributes to A N Vaishnavi recalled that it was because of his moral courage, that he pursued a national cause in J&K throughout his life by taking part in various movements including Praja Parishad. Kuldeep Raina chairman Samajik Vikas Sanastha, Rajinder Kilam vice president AIKPC, M.K. Jalali president, Sharika Peeth, T.N. Koul president, Muthi Camp, Dr Ramesh Bhat social activist, P.L. Shangroo; Bharat Bushan Gosain, Deepak Moza, Shadi Lal Mujoo, Shiban Pandita, O.N. Koul, R.K. Wangnoo, C.L. Bhat, Prof. Bhan, Tej Pandita, Ravinder Razdan . Veena Gurtoo Ravi Raina and others paid tributes to late leader.
While paying tributes to Vaishnavi through video conferencing KPC president, Kundan Kashmiri described him a legendary leader who possessed qualities of head and heart. He said Vaishnavi Ji was a true Swayamsevak who possessed moral courage, was honest, dedicated and daring. He was an inspiration for nationalist forces in J&K who always fought for Akhand Bharat a dream of RSS founder, Dr Headgewar its second in chief Guru Golewalkar and founder president of Jana Sangh, Dr Shayama Prasad Mookherjee.
KPC leaders Dr H L Saraf, Tej Pandita, M K Raina, Suresh Ji Bhat, R L Raina, Rajinder Dhar and others also paid tributes to late leader.
At function was organized by BJP KDD in which tributes were paid to great leader by BJP general secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul, prabhari KDD, Chand Ji Bhat former MLCs Girdhari Lal Raina and Surinder Ambardar, Vinod Pandita, Shiban Ji, Rakesh Kaul councilor and others. They recalled the services of Vaishnavi to nation as a whole. J&K Vichar Manch leaders including Ashok Kangan, H L Bhat and Bushan Lal Bhat also paid tributes to late leader though video conferencing on his eighth death anniversary.
