JAMMU, Oct 3: While expressing their total solidarity with the package and other Hindu employees serving in trouble -torn Kashmir valley, various KP organizations accused the Government of depriving these hapless employees of their constitutional rights.
Talking to reporters here, today the leaders of these organizations under the aegis of All Parties Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (APMCC) demanded appointment of a Nodal Officer at Jammu to redress the grievances by releasing the monthly salaries of these employees till conducive atmosphere is created for their return to Valley.
The leaders of various KP organizations who addressed the press conference including Swami Kumar Ji of Geeta Satsangh Ashram, Ravinder Raina , president SASKPC, Vinod Pandit chairman, APMCC, Arun Kandroo, general secretary APMCC, M K Yogi president NC Minority Cell, Prof B L Zuthsi, educationist, Manohar Nath Pandita, Vice chairman Congress Migrant Cell, Kuldeep Raina president Mata Kheer Bhawani, Asthapan, Manzgam, T N Kaul president, Buta Nagar, Dr T K Bhat general secretary ASKPC, Aryan Ramesh, secretary AIKS, Virender Pandita and Vimresh Kaul.
These leaders castigated the State Government for ignoring the Pandit employees who are on dharna for last 81 days in front of Relief Organization here after their camps were attacked by the anti social elements in Valley following the killing of dreaded terrorist Burhan Wani which saw wide spread unrest in Kashmir.
These leaders said the salaries of these employees have been kept withheld and the authorities are not hearing their woes. They demanded that a Nodal Officer be appointed at Jammu immediately for redressal of their problems. They said it is unfortunate that no senior Government officer was deputed to hear their woes and problems.
They said these nationalist youth who volunteered to serve in Valley were left high and dry by the Government and they are sitting on dharna in scorching heat for over two months now. The leaders of all these organizations while extending full support to protesting KP employees demanded that their services be utilized at camp offices in Jammu.
