KPC for unity among Pandit organizations

JAMMU, Sept 24: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has said that displaced Pandits from Valley were passing through a critical phase of the history as the social fabric is eroding day by day and community is being ignored and deprived of its basic rights.
While addressing the meetings of his organization at various places KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri stressed on unity in the rank and file of the community. He said through unity and determination for the community cause, the exiled Pandits can overcome all the obstacles and seek justice for them.
“Unity is must to restore our rights, honor and dignity and to fight for our rights and against injustice’’, he said, adding the need of the hour is that all well meaning people in the community should work for unity among the Pandit organizations so that a Coordination Committee can be formed on the demands of which the restoration of our homeland is a prime demand.                                              Kundan Kashmiri urged the community to have a pledge  to avoid inter cast marriage, maintain traditions, ethos, rituals and  keep more than two children, preserve and promote Kashmiri language which has its origin in Sanskrit,  work for restoration of dignity, honors and human rights of the community.
Other KPC leaders who addressed the meetings included M.L.Raina Vice President KPC, Sushil Bhat its organizing secretary, Kaka Ji Bhan chairman KPC Jagti Unit, Premil Bhat Youth KPC leader.
Kashmiri also participated in the dharna of relief holders here and urged the Government to settle their demand without delay.
