KPC asks Govt to make blue print on Pandits return public

JAMMU, June 14: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) in a meeting today at New Delhi, while reacting to the statement of Union Minister, Prahlad Singh Patel that the Narendra Modi led Government would ensure honourable and dignified return and rehabilitation of displaced Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley has urged the Government to make a blue print public in this regard.
Kundan Kashmiri, president Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) stated that rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits with honour and dignity has become vague term which does not clear where and under what plan these exiled people will be rehabilitated.
He said Government of India and ruling dispensation should come out with clear policy of KPs rehabilitation in the Valley as per their aspirations and wishes and discuss the plan of one place settlement of this hapless community with its leadership which is only viable and acceptable for them.
He further said KPs can’t live again at their previous locations or to in various clusters and ghettos in the Valley and the community has already rejected and pre–condition for their return to the Valley is to settle them at one place in accordance to their geopolitical aspirations.
He also demanded that the community be given indigenous status which is having more than five thousand years background in the Valley.
Other KPC leader M K Raina, Dr.HL Saraf, Tej Pandita, Sushil Ji Bhat, R.L Raina ,S.L Zuthsi , Rajender Dhar etc fully endorsed the demands.
