JAMMU, Jan 13: Various issues confronting displaced Kashmiri Pandits came up for discussion in a joint meeting of the community organizations here today which was organized by Jai Krishan Raina Maktoom a socio-political leader.
The meeting was chaired by ASKPC chief, R K Raina. The data forms and united stand of the community on the return and rehabilitation were the main points of discussion in the meeting.
The leaders while discussing data forms said that same information was sought in 1992 without concrete results. The members however suggested of holding such interactive sessions in future too to reach at a consensus. The meeting among others was attended by H L Bhat of JKVM, Dr A N Pandita of PNBMT, Rakesh Kaul of Sampooran Kashmiri Sangathan, B L Bhat president Nagdandi Trust, R K Bhat YAIKS, Tej Kirishan Jagyasoo, ASKPC, V K Kashkari, AIKS, Ramesh Hangloo, of Sharda Radio, P L Koul Badgami of KHC, Veena Gurtoo, president Women Wing ASKPC, S N Raina, P L Sudeshi of Nagrai and M L Pandita. The vote of thanks was proposed by D N Hangloo and P K Raina managed the stage.
