KP bodies blame coalition for migrants’ plight

JAMMU, Apr 21: To discuss the various problems of Kashmiri migrants, a joint meeting of various social organizations including Jagti Migrants Welfare Committee, JAC, JCC and Voice of KPs was held at Jagti under the chairmanship of Veer Ji.
The meeting while expressing its concern over the callousness of Coalition Government towards the displaced Pandits said that it has failed to settle the problems of Kashmiri migrants during its last over five years rule.
It alleged that the Pandits were forced to flee under a conspiracy in which other than the militants some political parties of the Valley were also involved. It appealed the community to vote against the coalition candidates in the ensuing elections.
The meeting said, that coalition Government is responsible for the unemployment of the youths and various other problems including  denial of  education and benefits of promotion to  displaced employees, delay in implementation of much talked about PM’s employment package and draconian laws attached to it, non payment of compensation to over aged youths and  to left over property of the migrants, pending exgratia, Medical and educational facilities in the camps, removal of encroachments from the immovable property, enhancement  of relief, Issuing of RBA certificates, bifurcation of ration cards, delay in ration supply in the camps, 16 Hrs power cuts in the camps, delaying of construction of 45  bedded hospital at Jagti township, failure to launch special recruitment in police, not giving the benefits of  various schemes launched by the Centre in Kashmir Valley, scholarship to KP children in various technical courses launched by GOI.
It alleged under a hatched conspiracy relief organization has been made defunct organization.
It said migrants cases are pilling in the Relief Department and that has led to a lot of problem to them.
Those who addressed the meeting included  R.K.Seghal, Ravinder Raina,Sanjay Raina,Ravi Zutshi ,Pintoo Ji.  Others who were present in the meeting Roshan Lal Raina,Chand JI Pandita, Chuni Lal, J.L.Pandita, Kudan Lal,Poshkar Nath,Ramesh Koul, Bushan Lal, Vimal Ji, Vinod  Ji, Moti Lal.
