JAMMU, Aug 30: A delegation of Kounsar Nag Prabandhak Samiti led by its convener Swami Kumar Ji of Geeta Satsang Ashram met Governor NN Vohra and submitted a memorandum in connection with the sacred yatra to ancient Kounsar Nag in Kulgam District of Kashmir which was slated to be undertaken by a group of 40 Kashmiri Hindus but was denied, by the local administration after the permission for the same was given earlier.

Looking to the ensuing “Pitra Paksh” in the first fortnight of September this year, a group of devotees is to visit and pay obeisance at the sacred Kounsarnag Lake. This was brought into the notice of the Governor by the members on the delegation.
