KATHUA, Aug 3: BJP Jammu and Kashmir conducted series of meetings of Shakti Kendra Pramukhs and district office bearers, district Morcha presidents, Mandal presidents at Kathua. The meeting was addressed by BJP State general secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul, who interacted with party leaders and activists on various organizational matters.
MLAs Rajeev Jasrotia and Kuldeep Kumar, district general secretary Inderjeet Sharma, State Working Committee Member, Gopal Mahajan and other senior leaders including district p[resident Kathua Prem nath Dogra were present during the meeting.
Ashok Kaul, while addressing the meeting, focused on strengthening of the organizational structure at the grass root level. He said that the strong organizational fabric of the party ensures that the basic ideology is learnt and followed by all the activists. He said that the very basic idea of BJP is established on the service to the underprivileged people and unheard voice. He said that BJP has truly touched the lives of common masses through its public friendly policies and schemes.
Kaul prompted the party leaders to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi by connecting with the masses and understanding the pulse and expectations from the BJP. He asked the senior BJP leaders to frame and complete the committees at the booth level while inducting new 9 members as “Navrattan”. He also gave the slogan of “Booth Jeeta, Chunaav Jeeta” to the party cadre and asked them to allocate responsibility sensibly to strengthen the booths which will help in approaching elections of Panchayat, Urban Local Body and Municipality.
Rajeev Jasrotia and Kuldeep Kumar during their address, said that the region has witnessed an increased pace of development since the formation of Government at the Centre led by PM Modi. They also enumerated various developmental works initiated by BJP and prompted all the BJP leaders to work sincerely to address the needs of general masses while taking all the achievements of BJP government to them. They said that whereas other political parties have one time agenda to come in government to rule, BJP only works with the agenda to serve the common masses.
District President Prem Nath Dogra provided the detailed account of works undertaken in the district and deliberated on various local issues before the party senior leaders.
