Kohli wins toss, elects to bat in series-opener

NORTH SOUND (ANTIGUA): India skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat against the West Indies in the first cricket Test at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, here today.

India have opted for a six-batsmen and five-bowlers combination, including two spinners R Ashwin and Amit Mishra.

Paceman Mohammed Shami is making comeback to the Indian side after nearly 16 months.

The hosts have handed Test debut to 24-year-old off-break bowler Roston Chase.
