Kohli reviews developmental projects at Kalakot

RAJOURI, Apr 23: Minister of State for Transport, Rural Development & Horticulture, Abdul Ghani Kohli chaired a meeting of district and sectoral officers to review the major projects of district Rajouri and ongoing developmental   works in  Kalakote.
The Minister took a detailed review of   performance of various departments and targets achieved under various   schemes like SGSY,IAY,RMSA ,SSA and MGNREGA.
The Minister also reviewed ongoing works of new hospital complex at Kheora, 100 bedded  additional block at SDH Nowshera, 50 bedded additional block at SDH Sunderbani, CHC Darhall and CHC building at Teryath and directed the concerned authorities to ensure expeditious  completion of the works.
Reiterating the need of pragmatic approach for holistic development, the Minister directed the officers to put strenuous efforts for streamlining   the service delivery mechanism to provide hassle free services to the people. The Minister directed the line departments to ensure better coordination for accelerating the speed of ongoing developmental works without  any compromise with  the quality of work while assuring that all efforts will be made to provide better  amenities to the people.
The Minister also reviewed the functioning of SRTC and directed the concerned to ply  SRTC buses on Jammu to Mogla,Mogla to Tarado route and from Tarado to Khwas route.
Earlier, DDC Rajouri,Deepti Uppal apprised the chair about the  progress achieved in  various  developmental projects of district  Rajouri
Later, the Minister convened a public grievance redressal camp at Dhangri wherein the people of the area put forth various demands pertaining to early completion of roads, upgradation of schools, electrification of left out areas.
