Kohli lays foundation of Tatapani-Puniti road

RAJOURI, Feb 24: Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Ghani Kohli today laid foundation stone of Tatapani Puniti to Jattan Brahmna road project sanctioned under PMGSY. The construction work on 6 km long road length has been started with an estimated cost of Rs. 5.25 crore.
The Minister also inaugurated Sulabh Complex at Bus Stand Kalakote which was completed at an estimated cost of Rs. 14 lakh undertaken under Swacch Bharat Mission.
While addressing the gathering after starting various developmental projects in the constituency, the Minister said that Sulabh Complex was the long pending demand of the people and assured that requisite steps would be taken to provide better amenities to the people at their doorsteps. Kohli instructed the concerned to ensure cleanliness in and around the complex.
Mentioning about Swacch Bharat Mission, the Minister exhorted that it is the duty of all citizens to keep the surroundings clean and help the Government in realizing Prime Minister Narendera Modi’s dream of making India Clean.
Referring to the developmental works under execution in the constituency, the Minister said that various new developmental projects including upgradation and improvement of PMGSY roads have been sanctioned and the work on these projects will be started soon.
