Kissan Morcha to organize farmers rights’ rally

JAMMU, Sept 17: BJP Kissan Morcha, State President Karan Singh today said that the Morcha is going to organize “Kissan Adhikaar Rally” (farmers rights) rally in coming days to make farmers aware of the progress made by the farmers of Gujrat with a helping hand of motivated and genuinely concerned State Government, so that they feel inspired to follow the footsteps of Gujrat farmers here too.
While addressing a press conference here at party headquarters today, he said ghar-ghar, goan-goan chaloo call of Narendra Modi, Chief Minister of Gujrat, during the summit meeting will really help in solving problems of farmers.
Mr Singh while briefing about the Kissan Morcha’s eight days sojourn to Gujrat said it has been an eye opener for all the delegates after seeing the Gujrat Government’s sincere and total commitment toward its agriculture sector. He said that it is mandatory for all the Government employees, including Chief Minister, numbering one lakh in total, to devote one month period for attending the matters relating to agriculture in the state.
He was accompanied by Morcha general secretary, Raghubir Singh Manhas, vice-president Jagdish Pandey and more than 20 delegates from Jammu & Kashmir, returned after attending two-day “Vibrant Gujrat Agriculture Summit” at Gandhi Nagar, Gujrat.
