The MLA said that with the opening of this road, there will be a huge flow of local as well as foreign tourists to these districts. “We can give boost to the tourism pilgrimage also as numbers of religious places of different religions are located in these two districts as number of pilgrims could not visit those religious places due to poor connectivity,” Saroori said.
He said that various proactive measures have been taken up to explore the immense tourism potential of the far off areas in the Sub-Division Chatroo as such Rs 7.83 crore Kishtwar-Sinthan on Yatra Sarai, Huts, parks and allied infrastructure is under execution. He called upon the Tourism Department to work with vigour and dedication to ensure the execution of ongoing projects well in time.
