Kishtwar residents appeal Govt to settle Safaikaramcharis issue

KISHTWAR, July 20: The residents of Kishtwar in a meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of S S Bhandari senior Congress leader expressed grave concern over the prevailing insanitation in the town caused due to strike of Safai Karamcharis.
The meeting in an appeal to DC Kishtwar and Municipal Committee Kishtwar authorities urged them to settle the issue of Safai Karamcharis immediately as there is every apprehension of spread of epidemic in case the strike continues and the heaps of garbage remain lying in the streets and other market places.
The meeting also demanded construction of bathrooms from Dak Bungalow Kishtwar to Bus Stand.
The meeting among others was attended by Farooq Ahmed Tapal, Tilak Raj Shan, Nisar Mir and Surjit Kumar.
