NEW DELHI, Sept 08 : Kishmish prices rose by Rs 100 per 40 kg in the national capital today on increased buying by retailers and stockists on higher demand from bulk consumers.
Furthermore, tight stocks following fall in supplies from growing regions also supported the uptrend.
Kishmish Indian Yellow and Green prices rose by Rs 100 each to settle at Rs 2,900-4,600 and Rs 5,100-9,100 per 40 kg, respectively.
Marketmen said pick up in buying by retailers and stockists against restricted supplies from growing belts, mainly pushed up kishmish prices to rise.

Almond (California) Rs 17,000-17,200, Almond(Gurbandi-new) Rs 11,400-11,700, Almond (Girdhi) Rs 5,600-5,800; Abjosh Afghani Rs 5,000-22,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 610-620 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 725-825 per kg. (PTI)
