SRINAGAR, Aug 7: A militant of Al-Badr outfit, who was killed last week, has figured in the shortlist for Sub-Inspector post (Executive Wing), the results of which were declared by Jammu and Kashmir Police today.
Khursheed Ahmad Malik, a B Tech pass out, had appeared for the Sub-Inspector post in Police Department but was killed in an encounter with Army, police and SOG at Drusoo, Sopore in North Kashmir on August 3. His associate Reyaz Ahmad Dar was also killed in the gunfight in which a soldier and two cops were injured.
Khursheed, 26, son of Ghulam Nabi Malik, a resident of Nikas, Arabal Pulwama completed his B Tech last year through SMED College in Katra district of Jammu region.
