Kidnapped woman, baby recovered from Shimla

RAJOURI, Feb 11:  Cracking a case of mysterious missing of a woman  and her baby from a village of tehsil Sunderbani, Rajouri police has recovered both of them and has nabbed the accused kidnapper from Shimla area of Himachal Pradesh.
Reports said  on January 14, 2018, a man from Salwa Bhalwal in Sunderbani lodged a complaint in Police Station Sunderbani alleging that her wife and three and a half years old baby went to her parents’ house but didn’t reach there and are missing mysteriously.
On this, police team headed by SHO Sunderbani under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera and Addl SP Nowshera started investigation and during initial investigation, it came to fore that lady has been kidnapped after which missing report was converted in FIR 09/2018 U/S 366, 109 RPC and in-depth investigation was started and different people were questioned.
Several locations in Sunderbani and Jammu were raided but nothing positive came out.
However police team got suspicion about involvement of Akshit Kumar, son of Balbir Raj, resident of Qasim Nagar, Narwal in Jammu.
While investigation of this case was going on,  a specific input was received and a team headed by HC Ravinder Singh was framed and sent to Shimla in HP.
With the help of Shimla police, a raid was conducted on suspected location and police team managed to recover both the lady and her baby who have been brought to Sunderbani Rajouri where investigation formalities are going on. Accused has also been arrested by police team and further investigation in going on.
