JAMMU, Jan 4: Nagrota Police rescued a kidnapped teenage girl within two hours and arrested the accused.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged today by a man with Police Station Nagrota stating that his 18-year-old daughter has been kidnapped by Karan Malhotra, son of Des Raj, a resident of Slathia Mohallah Nagrota on January 2, this year.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 3/2021 under Section 366 IPC was registered in Police Station Nagrota and hunt was launched to rescue the kidnapped girl and arrest the accused.
On specific information, a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Mohammad Shoket conducted raid and rescued the kidnapped girl within two hours and arrested the accused.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
