Kidnapped minor rescued, accused arrested

JAMMU, Dec 6: Chinore Police rescued a kidnapped minor girl and arrested the accused.
As per police sources, yesterday a complaint was lodged by a man hailing from Madhya Pradesh, at present Bantalab with Police Post Chinore stating that his 14-year-old daughter has been missing since November 2, 2020 and he had doubt that some unknown person had kidnapped her.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 354/2020 under Section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Domana and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Chinore Police Post rescued the kidnapped minor girl from Bermeen area of Ramnagar, district Udhampur and arrested the accused, who was identified as Dharmandra Singh, son of Lakhan Singh of Madhya Pradesh, at present Bantalab.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Chinore Police Post SI Deepak Bharti and assisted by ASI Bashir Ahmed rescued the abducted girl and arrested the accused under the guidance of SHO Domana Inspector Chanchal Singh, SDPO Domana Kosheen Koul, SP Rural Sanjay Sharma and SSP Jammu Shridhar Patil.
