JAMMU, May 2: Gandhi Nagar Police rescued a kidnapped minor girl and arrested two accused.
As per police sources, a man lodged a complaint with Police Station Gandhi Nagar stating that his 15-year-old daughter has been allegedly kidnapped by Sanjay and Rahul, both residents of Majalta.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 131/2021 under Section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Gandhi Nagar and hunt was launched to rescue the kidnapped girl and arrest the accused.
On specific information, a team from Police Station Gandhi Nagar led by SHO Inspector Bharat Sharma conducted raid and rescued the kidnapped minor girl and arrested both the abductors.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
