JAMMU, May 7: Janipur Police rescued a kidnapped girl and arrested the abductor.
As per police sources, on May 5 this year a complaint was lodged by a lady with Police Station Janipur stating that her minor daughter went to market to purchase some household items and did not returned back home.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 41/2022 under Section 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Janipur and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Janipur led by SHO Inspector Ajaz Haider and assisted by PSI Anil Kumar conducted raids in different areas and finally recovered the girl vis arrested the abductor.
The arrested person was identified as identified as Nakul, son of Budhi Ram of Manjha Kazipur, Faizabad.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
