RAJOURI, Apr 3: The police today recovered a minor girl and arrested her kidnapper from Kashmir.
Police sources said that father of a 15-year-old girl, hailing from Thannamandi filed a complaint with the Police Station, Thannamandi alleging that his minor daughter has been kidnapped by Nazir Ahmed, son of Ghulam Ahmad of Tral, Shopian in Kashmir.
Acting swiftly, police rescued the girl and arrested the kidnapper from a hideout. The girl was handed over to the family members after completion of legal formalities. The police registered a case and started investigation.
