Kidnapped girl recovered, photographer among two held

JAMMU, Dec 14: Kanachack police today recovered a kidnapped girl and arrested two persons including a photographer from Janipur.
As per police sources, brother of a girl hailing from Channuchack area of Kanachack lodged a complaint with Kanachak police station that her sister has been kidnapped by Sunil Kumar, son of Chaman Lal, a resident of Channuchack on December 12. Sunil Kumar is a photographer by profession and was running a shop in Tehsil Mendhar, district Poonch.
Accordingly, a case under FIR Number 220/14 under Section 363, 376 and 109 RPC was registered with police station Kanachack and investigation started.
On some reliable information, police team from Kanachack police station arrested the uncle of the accused namely Diwan Chand, son of Suram Chand, a resident of Pargwal and on his disclosure, police team conducted raid in Janipur area, recovered the kidnapped girl and arrested the accused Sunil Kumar.
The girl was restored to family members after completing medical-legal formalities.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Kanachack police station Javed Ahmed and SDPO Domana Sanjay Parihar recovered the kidnapped girl and arrested the accused under the supervision of SP Rural Rajiv Pandey and SSP Jammu Uttam Chand.
