UDHAMPUR, July 15: The police recovered a girl who was kidnapped from Ramnagar area and arrested one person in this connection.
Official sources said that based on the report of one Parkash Singh of Ramnagar that his daughter has been kidnapped by some unknown persons, a case FIR No. 89/2018 U/S 363 RPC was lodged with the Police Station Ramnagar.
Police team of PP Ghordi under SHO Ramnagar constituted a team which raided several suspected places as the accused person kept on shifting the location. After strenuous efforts of Udhampur Police, the abducted girl has been rescued from the possession of accused in Karlai area of Udhampur town.
The accused person was identified as Arjun Sharma, son of Om Parkash of Nala Ghoda, Tehsil Ramnagar and was arrested on the spot.
