MENDHAR , Sept 22: The police arrested a youth and recovered a kidnapped minor girl from forest area of Jugal in tehsil Mendhar today.
Police sources said that 16-year-old Imrana Kouser (name changed), hailing from village Nakkar Banola (Chhatral) was allegedly kidnapped by four youth from a maize field near her house three days back. The police party led by SHO Mendhar Anzar Mir, conducted raid at a hideout and arrested one youth namely Parvez Ahmed (25), son of Mushtaq Ahmed, resident of Chhatral. Three others are still absconding.
They are identified as Zulfkar alias Mithu from Sakhi Maidan, Sikandar from Kas Baladi and Zaheen Ahmed from Kaneti Banola. The police was searching for them. A case FIR No. 124/ 2015 has been registered in this connection.
