RAJOURI, Mar 11: The police recovered a kidnapped girl and also traced a missing woman during investigation of both the cases.
A police official said that a team headed by Incharge Police Post Khawas, PSI Showkat Iqbal during investigation of a case, traced out a local missing woman from a different area. The lady has been handed over to her legal heirs after completion of necessary formalities with further legal proceedings in the matter are going on.
Similarly, this police team also recovered a kidnapped girl for which a case of kidnapping in FIR 14/2022 under sections 363, 109 IPC was registered in Budhal Police Station.
Police said that during investigation, some leads were developed and kidnapped girl has been recovered from Lah village of Thanamandi in Rajouri district.
