RAMBAN, Mar 29: Sangaldan police recovered a kidnapped minor girl from Kulgam district of Kashmir.
As per police sources, family members of a minor girl hailing from Gool lodged a complaint with police station Gool stating that their minor daughter has been kidnapped by some unidentified person.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 9/16 under Section 363 RPC was registered at police station Gool and investigation station.
During the course of investigation, Call Detail Record (CDR) was checked and accordingly police conducted raid in District Kulgam of Kashmir and recovered the minor girl. However, the accused managed to escape from the spot.
The girl has been handed over to her legal hairs after completing legal formalities.
The recovery has been made by police party led by SI Yashpal, Incharge Police Post Sangaldan under the supervision of SHO Gool SI Ravi Singh Parihar, DySP Operations Gool Vipan Chandran and SSP Ramban Randeep Kumar.
