POONCH, Mar 23: The Police recovered a girl who was kidnapped by a middle aged man from Sangiot area of Gursai last week.
The Gursai police registered a case FIR No. 19/ 2017 after parents of the girl lodged a report with the police alleging that she has been kidnapped by one Mohd Maroof, son of Mohd Zaman of the same area.
The police party led by SHO Sameer Ahmed started investigation and managed to recover the girl from Mendhar town today. The girl after medical examination was handed over to the family while the accused was arrested. He is said to be the husband of her sister. Further investigation was in progress.
