RAJOURI, Feb 16: The police recovered a kidnapped girl and nabbed two persons while the prime accused managed to flee in Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that one person from Chatyari- Narian lodged FIR No. 57/ 2018 against one Manzoor Hussain, son of Mengi, resident of Bhamla-Lettar, alleging that his daughter has been kidnapped by him about ten days ago. The police party led by SI Fareed Ahmed under the supervision of SHO Rajouri, Tahir Khan started manhunt and managed to recover girl during raid at village Lettar this morning. Two persons namely Rakesh Kumar and Hakim Din from Letar/Pouni were arrested while main accused managed to flee. The police was looking for him. The girl after performing legal formalities was handed over to the family by police.
