KISHTWAR, July 25: Senior National Conference (NC) leader and former Home Minister Sajjad Ahmad Kichloo conducted three days tour of Warwan areas and visited remote areas like Inshan, Mulwarwan, Bhatta, Sarkund, Passar, Wurvan, Mingli, Choydraman, Aafti, Brayan, Basmina, Margi, Gumri, Rikanwaas, Kuzuz and Sokhani areas.
He held public darbar at various places and people put forth several demands including spread of ‘Hepatitis B’, which has grabbed almost half of the population.
Being the rainy season, various nallahas and drains are over flowing. The water pipes have been connected directly with these rain filled nallahas, so the water supplied through these pipes is full of bacteria and small dead animals, which attributes to the spread of Hepatitis B. Moreover, the people of the area are suffering due to bad conditions of roads.
On behalf of public, Kichloo demanded the repair and upgradation of road from Gouran to Margan Top having the length of approximately 50 kilometers, which is in bad condition and has turned accident prone. The concerned authorities have been directed to speed up the work.
Regarding the feed back from the local residents regarding the Hepatitis B, Kichloo demanded a State level initiative in this regard. Besides this, he further demanded that a team of senior doctors should be sent to the area with adequate free medicine facilities because dozens of lives are lost every year especially women and children due to shortage of medical staff, especially gynecologist which is the top priority of the concerned people.
Those who accompanied Kichloo were Block President Abdul Razak, Mohammad Abaas, Mohammad Shaaban, Moham-mad Yusuf, Gulam Mohammad Koka, Abdul Razak Sheikh, Farooq Ahmad Shan, Wali  Mohamma and Ali Mohammad Rather.
