KATHUA, Dec 20: People of Khrot held a protest demonstration against the water scarcity in the area.
The protesters said that the tube well in the area is not functioning for a pretty long time due to which they are facing acute scarcity of drinking water and the authorities of PHE though requested to solve the problem many times have failed to restore water supply forcing the villagers to come to streets.
They warned to intensify the agitation in case water supply was not immediately resumed to the village.
