KHC for abrogation of Art 35-A, deportation of Rohingyas

JAMMU, Sept 16: Kashmiri Hindu Conference (KHC) has strongly advocated for abrogation of Article 35-A and Article 370 giving special status to the J&K State.
The KHC in a meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of advocate M L Thusu also demanded immediate deportation of Rohingyas and Bangladeshis from the State as they can be a security risk in the militancy infested State.
The meeting also criticised the former Chief Minister and National Conference president, Dr Farooq Abdullah regarding release of separatists, settlement of Rohingyas and retention of Article  35-A.
Thusu said that the attitude of NC leader and his outbursts is cause of concern. He said the protest in support of Rohingya Muslims and damaging the property of the State is the result of outbursts of the leaders like Dr Abdullah. The people of Valley get encouraged by such statements. He said the protest launched by the Government employees in Valley in support of Rohingyas also speaks volumes of indiscipline which has spread in the Kashmir society.
The meeting said when Kashmiri Muslims are purchasing houses and property in other parts of country why the people from other parts of India can’t purchase property in J&K.
The meeting was also addressed by P L Koul Budgami, K L Ganju, Jai Krishan Maktoom, M L Koul, M L Daftri, A K Bhat, G L Koul and others.
