Khatri, Arora Consortium celebrates foundation day

JAMMU, Apr 28: The foundation day of Khatri and Arora Consortium was celebrated today with lots of enthusiasm, passion and zeal in which hundreds of persons with their families participated. The main function was held in RM Public School Chowadi, Sainik Colony.
The function was initiated by lighting of inaugural lamps by president of the Consortium Advocate VK Grover, vice-presidents Adarsh Pandoh and Vandana Maini, general secretary Rajesh Pandoh, and joint secretary PK Talwar. The lighting of pious lamp was done by Chairman of RM Public School Rameshwar Mengi and Rita Mengi.
The main program started with cultural performances of RM School artists. Thereafter, PK Talwar presented the financial statement of the Consortium which was approved by voice vote.
Rajesh Pandoh narrated the annual performance of the Consortium starting from its inception on 16th April 2023 till date.
Advocate VK Grover, while addressing the gathering reiterated that this being a non-political and social organization shall remain so till its existence. He further said that since this organization is a new born baby and required proper and systematic nourishment to grow it to a well built and strong tree so that no external factor could damage its existence.
The function culminated with the singing of National Anthem.
The Consortium also honoured eminent Golfer Vedant Handa.
