Khanna elected Red Cross vice chairman for 3rd time

JAMMU, June 27: In a meeting chaired by the Chairman of the Indian Red Cross Society and the Union Health Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, it was decided to re-elect, Avinash Rai Khanna as national vice chairman of the Red Cross Society for the third consecutive time.
Avinash Rai Khanna, BJP national vice president & former Member of Parliament, expressed his gratitude to the Union Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan and the members of the Committee and assured that he will strive fully to help the needy people across the country.
Pertinent to mention that Khanna started his social life from a social organization called Seva Bharati and was elected MLA from Garhshankar, then Lok Sabha MP from Hoshiarpur and later Rajya Sabha MP from Punjab.
Presently, Avinash Rai Khanna is also incharge of Jammu Kashmir, Goa and Rajasthan.
