JAMMU, Aug 3: Senior BJP leader and MLC, Ashok Khajuria has demanded that the Rohingyas and Bangladeshis be immediately deported from the J&K State as they are proving a security risk for the entire nation.
In a statement issued here, today, Khajuria warned those politicians who are politicizing the issue for their vested political interests. He also demanded serious action against those NGOs, politicians and other organizations who were responsible for settling these foreigners in the J&K State in general and Jammu in particular by managing their I Cards, Aadhar Cards, ration cards etc.
He said these elements under a big conspiracy were ganging up to create a state of unrest in Jammu as the Rohingays and Bangladeshis can play in the hands of terrorist organizations to harm the peace in this region also.
Khajuria said it is unfortunate that on one hand the nationalist people including West Pak refugees are denied citizenship rights by the Kashmir centric politicians while on the other hand they are opposing the deportation of Rohingyas and Bangladeshis from the State.
Khajuria also strongly advocated for the abrogation of Article 35A of the Indian Constitution which he said has no relevance and was only introduced through Presidential Ordinance. He said this Article should have since been abrogated but the Congress party for its appeasement and vote bank policies never thought about the same.
He accused former Prime Minister, Jawahar Lal Nehru for introducing the Article 35 A as well as the Article 370 in the Indian Constitution which were not needed at all as these two Articles have created a State within the State and Nehru took this decision just to please his friend Sheikh Mohammed Abdullah.
