JAMMU, May 3:  Senior BJP leader and MLC Ashok Khajuria has demanded immediate arrest of separatist Syed Ali Shah Geelani for his anti-national statements and vicious propaganda.
Taking strong exception to the pro-Pakistan, anti-India and anti-Hindu utterances of Geelani, Mr Khajuria said that jail was only place for such elements, whose objective was to create troubles by their vicious propaganda.
“The Government should deal such elements iron handed and either deport them to other side of the border or put them behind the bar without any further delay so that a strong message may be clearly conveyed to those who are  living in India but their hearts beat for Pakistan,” the BJP leader said in a statement.
Mr Khajuria also warned the separatist leaders to desist from interference in the religious affairs of Hindus and opined that Government should make efforts to ensure that holy Amarnath Yatra may be taken out throughout the year.
