JAMMU, Aug 21: The wife and son of ex-Deputy CM’s PRO were today booked for assault on the Principal and other staff of Government Higher Secondary School, Gole Gujral.
According to a police spokesperson, the wife and son of Kewal Krishan, PRO of ex-Deputy CM Tara Chand this afternoon visited Government Higher Secondary School, Gole Gujral, where over some issue they engaged in an argument with school Principal. “When a clerk and a female employee of the school intervened, the lady and his son assaulted and abused them verbally”, he added.
In the assault, the female employee of the school, who has been identified as Pooja (30) wife of Pankaj Bhat, a resident of Udeywala, Jammu, received some injuries and was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
“On the complaint of the injured lady, we have registered a case in this connection and further investigations are underway”, said Rajesh Kumar, Incharge, police post Pounichak, under whose jurisdiction the place of assault falls.
