Kelly Rowland joins ‘Empire 2’?

LOS ANGELES, July 6:  R&B singer Kelly Rowland will appear on the second season of the hit Fox show “Empire” this fall.
During season one, “Empire” often featured scenes from Terrence Howard’s character’s past, which shows and his feisty now-ex-wife Cookie Lyon, played by Taraji P Henson, during harder times before they built their powerful music empire, reported E!Online.
Last month, Rowland hung out with “Empire” screenwriters, sparking speculation she may make an appearance on the show.
“Hey, @KELLYROWLAND! Thank you for spending some time with the #Empire writers!,” writers had written on Twitter.
The show’s second season is set to debut on September 23 and feature high-profile guest stars such as Chris Rock, Lenny Kravitz, Alicia Keys and Marisa Tomei, who will play a demanding venture capitalist. (PTI)
