JAMMU, Feb 12: A delegation of Kashmir Electrical Employees and Workers Association (KEEWA) under the supervision of LPEF president Abdul Majid Khan called on MD Power Development Corporation (PDC), Basharat Dar and Director Codes, Majid Jhangir here today and discussed various problems of PDC employees with them.
The other members of the delegation included KEEWA president, Nazir Ahmed, its chief organisor, Mohammed Shaban Bhat, general secretary, Mohammed Javid Shah, members Mohammed Latif and Farooq Ahmed Khan.
They demanded settlement of pension issue of PDC employees, regularization of daily wagers, framing of rules and regulations in PDC, providing of facilities to workers, posting of staff as PDC is facing shortage of manpower and reorganization of PDC. Both the officers assured the delegation that they will look into the demands.
