JAMMU, June 16: In a petition filed by Girdhari Lal Sharma and others, Justice Tashi Rabstan today directed the State to keep reserve four posts of Chief Accounts Officers till further orders.
In the petition, it was submitted that petitioners are promotees to the post of Accounts Officer and in terms of SRO 210 of 1994, 50:50 ratio is required to be maintained as per the Jammu and Kashmir Gazetted (Junior Scale Accounts) Service Rules which are comprised of promotes and the direct recruits.
“The service period between the promotion of the petitioners in their own pay and grade with charge allowance up to the date of their regularization on the post of Accounts Officer is required to be settled down in accordance with various judgments of the Apex Court”, the petition said.
After going through the petition, Justice Rabstan directed the State to keep reserve four posts of Chief Accounts Officers till further orders.
