KCCI meets Div Com to resolve Cargo issue

Srinagar, June 16: The Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry today took the stopping of Cargo at Srinagar Airport issue with Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Shailendra Kumar.
They apprised Divisional Commissioner of the losses suffered by the dealers who export Cherry from Kashmir as the fresh fruit has also been stopped at the Airport.
The statement of the Chamber said that the Divisional Commissioner felt equally concerned about the situation and took up the issue with all the concerned agencies including Air Force.
As a result it has been agreed by the Airlines to pick up the cargo of all sectors so as to avoid any further damage, loss to the exporters.
The KCC&I is expecting cooperation from all the airlines and other authorities to  meet the  export exigencies of the  exporters.
