KCCI holds meet with Secy Tourism

Srinagar, Jan 16: Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) today said it held a meeting with the Secretary Tourism Farooq Ahmad Shah and apprised him about the issues being faced by the tourism stakeholders.
The KCCI president, Mushtaq Wani said: “While the Chamber appreciated the initiatives already taken by the Government for promotion of the tourism the issues and the problems faced by the houseboat owners, hoteliers and tour, travel agents and all other tourism players and the need for taking up the issue regarding operating the chartered flights for Srinagar destination in peak tourist season by state tourism players were discussed in the meeting.”
He said the Secretary Tourism assured that new initiatives like good number of road-shows will be held within the country to enhance the domestic tourism.
